Worship Set #14 - "Yes I Will"5/20/2020 A new week and a new day to celebrate what God has done in our lives. While it may seem like everything in life has hit pause, God is working in us to shape and refine us. If anything, He’s doing more work in each of our hearts during this season because we have time to focus on Him. So don’t be afraid of the extra quiet. Don’t resent the refining moments as you share close proximity with those you’re sheltering in place with. Don’t tune out the still, small voice of God as He whispers truth and correction into your heart. Embrace it, and use this time to grow in the Lord.
Worship Set #14 - "King of Kings"5/13/2020 While many things may seem to be falling apart and on hold, the Church has been growing during this global pandemic in ways that haven’t been seen in years. While it may seem like the Church is closed since the buildings are mostly empty, God is working through His Church in mighty ways. As the people of God lean into the Spirit of God and shine brightly during this season, many are coming to the truth. The Lord is working and moving through His Church, and the gospel is spreading during this time of crisis. In light of all this, it is appropriate that our worship song for today focuses on the history and purpose of the Body of Christ.
Worship Set #13 - "He Lives"4/15/2020 I hope you all had a blessed Resurrection Sunday! As we continue to remember and celebrate the finished work of the cross, I have a newish song to share with you. “He Lives” by Church of the City was released in January of this year. It’s a powerful anthem celebrating the risen Lord. Therefore, it’s the perfect one to focus on post-Easter.
Worship Set 10 - "Holy Ground"1/1/2020 Happy New Year! Welcome to 2020! I’m so excited what God has in store for this year and this new decade! We live during an exciting time when the stage is set for God to work in mighty ways. And the amazing thing is that we can be a part of what God is going to do. What an awesome God we serve!
Worship Set 7 - "Forever"10/30/2019 We’ve spent a month glorifying Jesus. We’ve remembered and pondered the depth of His sacrifice and worshipped Him for who He is and what He’s done for us. Now, as we come to the end of October and the world around us prepares to celebrate the darkest day of the year, let us magnify Jesus and lift Him up over all else.
Worship Set 6 - "Overcome"9/18/2019 God is able to do much more than all we ask or imagine. He is higher, stronger, and greater than all else. Yet despite His power and authority, His place of honor and superiority over all things, He chose to humble Himself and become like us—fragile and human. Why? So that He might overcome death.
Worship Set 6 - "God is Able"9/11/2019 Life gets tough at times. Situations can feel big and slightly insurmountable. Problems can arise and conflict can make life feel crazy. However, we need to remind ourselves that God is bigger than our problems. He’s bigger than our situations and is able to do above and beyond all we ask or imagine.
Worship Set 6 - "Our God"9/4/2019 God’s faithfulness is displayed in so many ways! He has been good and constant in our lives and there are so many ways we can celebrate and remember that fact. However, as we begin a new month and start a new worship set, we’re going to shift our focus to God’s power and greatness.
Worship Set 5 - "10,000 Reasons"8/7/2019 I hope everyone is having a marvelous summer! August is here…where has the time gone?! Last month’s worship set was a powerful one, wouldn’t you agree? As I was prayerfully thinking through what this month’s set should be, I realized that July was a hard act to follow. However, God really impressed upon my heart the message of His faithfulness and goodness to us. So this month we will be focusing our praise on these wonderful reasons to rejoice and thank God for His incredible faithfulness to us.
