God, You're So Good8/28/2019 As we wrap up our worship focus of God’s faithfulness, I want to share with you a beautiful retake on a classic chorus. “God, You’re So Good” was originally written by Travis Green and became popular during the Jesus movement. This was a time in Christian music when songs were simplified and contained choruses that were catchy and easy to remember. Song writers were moving away from the hymn style and structure and were creating short, easily learned melodies and lyrics.

Another classic hymn, the story behind “It is Well with My Soul” is one of triumph through tragedy. It is the testimony of one man’s unwavering faith in God despite the loss of almost everything. It is a reminder for us that no matter the hard we have to navigate, God is faithful and worthy of our praise.
Some songs are classics. They have withstood the test of time and are still around after over a hundred years. Today’s song is one of these timeless hymns. We could not do a worship set centered on God’s faithfulness and not highlight “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” by Thomas Chisholm and William Runyan.
Worship Set 5 - "10,000 Reasons"8/7/2019 I hope everyone is having a marvelous summer! August is here…where has the time gone?! Last month’s worship set was a powerful one, wouldn’t you agree? As I was prayerfully thinking through what this month’s set should be, I realized that July was a hard act to follow. However, God really impressed upon my heart the message of His faithfulness and goodness to us. So this month we will be focusing our praise on these wonderful reasons to rejoice and thank God for His incredible faithfulness to us.
