Come and worship the Creator who alone is worthy of our praise

Here I Am to Worship

Worship Set 6 - "Our God"

God’s faithfulness is displayed in so many ways!  He has been good and constant in our lives and there are so many ways we can celebrate and remember that fact.  However, as we begin a new month and start a new worship set, we’re going to shift our focus to God’s power and greatness.
Chris Tomlin has written many great songs for the church.  Today, we’re going to focus on his song “Our God.”  This song was written in 2010 and since then has been widely circulated in churches around the world.  It is a celebration of God’s strength and power, and a reminder that “if our God is for us then who could ever stop us?”

My favorite part of this song is the chorus, which is a declaration of the nature and character of God.  It reminds us of who God is as we declare what we believe.  We should never tire of singing the praises of God and worshipping Him by telling God who He is and what He’s done.  Throughout the Bible, we see great worshipers doing this.  Therefore, let us imitate them by making this song our personal anthem.  Here’s “Our God” by Chris Tomlin.
"Our God"
by Chris Tomlin

Water You turned into wine

Opened the eyes of the blind
There's no one like you
None like you

Into the darkness You shine

Out of the ashes we rise
There's No one like you
None like you

Our God is greater, our God is stronger

God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome in power
Our God, Our God

Into the darkness you shining

Out of the ashes we Rise
No one like you
None like you

Our God is greater, our God is stronger

God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome in power
Our God, Our God

Our God is greater, our God is stronger

God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome in power
Our God, Our God

And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?

And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
Then what can stand against?

Our God is greater, our God is stronger

God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome in power
Our God, Our God
