Worship Set 6 - "God is Able"

​Life gets tough at times.  Situations can feel big and slightly insurmountable.  Problems can arise and conflict can make life feel crazy.  However, we need to remind ourselves that God is bigger than our problems.  He’s bigger than our situations and is able to do above and beyond all we ask or imagine.  

​“God is Able” by Hillsong Worship is a great anthem to have for these moments.  The lyrics in this song contain great reminders as we preach to ourselves and remind our hearts that God is able.  Able to handle whatever problem we’re facing.  Able to get us through the situations that feel bigger than we are.  Able to give us wisdom in conflict and strength during difficult times.
 
One of the beautiful things about worship is that, as we praise God and worship Him for who He is, we remind ourselves of the very same facts.  This is true for this song.  As we declare to God the truth of who He is, we declare to ourselves that same truth and remind our hearts that God is powerful and greater than we give Him credit for.
 
My favorite part of this song is the chorus:  “Lift it up, He defeated the grave, raised to life our God is able, in His name we overcome, for the Lord our God is able.”  I pray that this anthem blesses you and reminds you of the greatness of our God.  Here’s “God is Able” by Hillsong Worship.
