Worship Set #11 - "How Great is Your Love"

​Continuing our focus on God’s incredible love, today’s song feature explores the greatness of God’s love and how far He was willing to pursue us.  I wonder if we sometimes grow callused to the awesomeness of God’s love and lose sight of how great a sacrifice and how much it cost Him to love us so.  We get used to the story of the cross and the message of salvation that it is no longer novel or amazing.  But this is a danger place to be!  For God’s love is amazing and we should never lose our wonder and gratitude for His immense sacrifice.

​Therefore, let’s refocus our minds and hearts today on the greatness of God’s love, renewing our gratitude for all that Jesus has done for us.  “How Great is Your Love” by Passion Music will help us accomplish this goal.  Filled with wonderful lyrics and truth, this song is powerful and will renew our wonder of the greatness of God’s love.  If I had to choose, my favorite section would be the pre-chorus:

​Our redemption came at a very high cost.  Jesus gave everything He had to save our souls.  The least we could do is remember and not take lightly His sacrifice.  So let’s not lose wonder and awe for the greatness of God’s love, let’s not forget the depth of His sacrifice.  Instead, let us worship and become undone by the immeasurable love that God has for us.  Here’s “How Great is Your Love” by Passion Music.
