Worship Set 1 - "What a Beautiful Name" with "Agnus Dei"

​Resurrection Sunday was just a couple of days ago.  As we continue to bask in the wonder and glory of what that day represents for us as believers, I have a special song to share with you. You may have heard it a million times, but this song is powerful no matter how many times you sing or listen to it.  It has definitely been anointed by God.  

​Today’s worship song is “What a Beautiful Name” by Hillsong Worship.  The inspiration behind this song was taken from Colossians chapter one—the “all things” chapter—which clearly states the supremacy, power, and all sufficiency of Christ.  It was from ruminations on this powerful passage that this Spirit-anointed song was born. 
 
However, I have a special twist for you today.  Several months back, I heard a new rendition of this great song and found that I loved this new version even better (which is hard to believe).  Travis Cottrell, a worship leader/recording artist, added “Agnus Dei” by Michael W. Smith to the end of “What a Beautiful Name” and created an even more powerful worship song.  Every time I hear the two together, I’m blown away and immediately filled with wonder and awe at the glory of Christ and the awesomeness of His power and beauty. 
 
This dynamic combination is definitely a mountain top experience which is why I have chosen this as the final song in my first worship set on “Here I Am to Worship.”  I pray that it blesses and minsters to you as powerfully as it has to me.
