"Jesus at the Center"

​Welcome back to another post on Here I Am to Worship!  Last week, we learned a lesson in surrender and how a surrendered life is the greatest offering and act of worship we can give our loving God.  This week, we’re going to continue with a great follow-up worship song titled, “Jesus at the Center.”

​This song really doesn’t need any explanation.  It’s a powerful anthem of praise and declaration.  My favorite part is the bridge which declares:  “From my heart to the heavens, Jesus be the center, it’s all about You, it’s all about You.”
 
So now as we read and meditate up these lyrics, the question for us is, are we living this out?  Is this song just a moving piece of worship or is it our declaration of praise and abandonment to our precious Savior?  Is Jesus truly at the center of our lives?
 
I pray that this would be our anthem, a song of worship and surrender to the King of Kings, and a truth that the world and those around us can see we are truly living out.  May Jesus be completely and totally at the center of it all!
