Share the Joy!

​It’s that time of year again!  Christmas is just around the corner, and while you might not be thinking about Christmas yet, it will be here before you know it!  So as we think ahead and prepare for all the wonderful, joyous activities that are coming up, let us not forget those who might not even know about Christmas—children who may have never received a gift.

​Operation Christmas Child collection week is coming up in just seven short days.  So if you haven’t packed a shoebox yet, you still have time to share the love of Jesus with an impoverished child.  For more information about Operation Christmas Child and details about what to pack in a shoebox, watch the video below.  And even if you already known a lot about this wonderful ministry and have already sent your shoeboxes in, you can be encouraged and blessed by the joyful, exuberant faces of these precious children.  

​My family has been packing shoeboxes every year for as long as I can remember, and it has become a fun, memorable part of our yearly Christmas preparations.  So get involved today and show the love of Jesus to a child through a simple, gift filled shoebox!
