Blogiversary!

It’s time to celebrate!!!  Five years ago today, August 6, 2015, the first post on So I Fix My Eyes was published.  What started out as a simple blog sharing thoughts and reflections has grown into a multifaceted website with 480 posts!  People from all over the world have visited and many people have been blessed by the content shared over the years.
Today, I want to celebrate what God has done over the past five years.  He has been faithful, and has grown me and this ministry in ways I would never have thought possible.  Thousands of words have been published, along with seven Bible studies and one book.  To God alone be all the glory!

To get the party started, I’d love if you would drop a comment and share how So I Fix My Eyes has blessed you, when you started following, how you found out about it, and/or what your favorite blog post or series has been.  This is a milestone year in the history of this ministry, and I think it would be great to share some testimonies of what God has done over the past five years.  Also, when we look back five years from now, we can all marvel at what God did.  So take a moment to think about it…

Now, the fun part!  In celebration of this special day, I have decided to do a give-away, a first for So I Fix My Eyes.  The prize is a copy of my book Colossians:  Mystery Revealed, Christ is Enough, Walk in Newness of Life.  Several readers have commented on the book’s simplicity and easy to understand style, so it would make a great gift for someone of any age and spiritual maturity, or you can keep it for yourself.

So here’s how the give-away is going to work.  In typical blog fashion, entries for the drawing will be based on how many times you share this website with friends.  So you have two options to gain entries.

  1. You can share So I Fix My Eyes with friends via email.  For every five friends you email, you receive one entry.

  1. You can share the website on your social media account.  Each platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, MeWe, etc.) you use to share the blog will receive one entry.

The deadline to enter the drawing is August 20th and the winner will be announced August 21st.  Use the form below to submit your entries.

I have been so blessed by my faithful readers.  Thank you for your continued support and for joining me on this journey over the past five years.  I am excited to see what God has in the future for So I Fix My Eyes!  He is continuing to work, growing and stretching this ministry.  So who knows what the next five years will bring?!

Thank you for celebrating this milestone day with me!  Don’t forget to drop your comment in celebration of So I Fix My Eyes’ birthday, and start thinking about who you can share this website with.  I look forward to seeing who will win the give-away!

Guest Post ~ When Stories Collide
Stories are strange things. Because it isn't the big, important people who are usually the main characters; it's not the sunny, lovely days that move the story along. It's the little people who become the heroes. It's the disasters that cause the quest.  Read more
