Worship Set 8 - "Fade Away"

​To wrap up our month of worship focused on surrender and gratitude, I want to share with you a song that has been speaking deeply to me over the last couple of months.  It’s a call to surrender, a call to make Jesus our everything and all that we’ll ever need.  It’s a prayer, asking God to fill us with more of Himself and less of ourselves.  It’s an anthem to declare to ourselves, reminding us of our mission and purpose.  This is “Fade Away” by Passion Music.

​I think I’ll let the song speak for itself, and for God’s Spirit to move through it to touch your heart.  However, I will share with you my favorite part of this song and the section that has ministered to me the most.  This part is the bridge.

​Remember, when it comes to worship music, the focus is not necessarily on the song or melody line, but on the message.  And this song has a powerful message.  So I hope and pray that you would take a few minutes from your busy holiday preparation to listen to this song and read the words, because it’s powerful.  It can become your life prayer as you seek to live a life of worship and surrender.  May the bridge be our mission and heart’s cry.  I know that it has become mine.  Here’s “Fade Away” by Passion Music.
