Worship Set 4 - "Praise Adonai"7/3/2019 Welcome to another worship set on “Here I Am to Worship!” I hope and pray that these posts and song features are a blessing to you as you grow in worship to our Savior and King. This month, we will have five posts and therefore, I will be sharing another communion song—or song that is specifically focused and used to remember the sacrifice of Jesus. However, that song won’t be shared for a few more weeks. Today’s song feature and the one to kick of our worship set for July is an upbeat praise song written in the early 2000s. “Praise Adonai” by Paul Baloche contains many good reminders for our soul and is written in a style that almost reminds me of a personal command. The verse starts out as a question and contains the reason why we worship and the chorus is a command or call to worship. Another interesting note is that this feature hints of a Jewish musical style. Not that is truly sounds Jewish, but its chord structure definitely gives it a Middle Eastern flare. So if you get a chance to listen to the recording, keep an ear open for that. I think my favorite line in this song is the opening one, “Who is like Him, the Lion and the Lamb seated on the throne?” May this song kick your month off to a good start and get your mind and heart focused on praising the Lord. Here’s “Praise Adonai” by Paul Baloche. "Praise Adonai" by Paul Baloche Who is like Him The Lion and the Lamb Seated on the throne Mountains bow down Every ocean roars To the Lord of hosts Praise Adonai From the rising of the sun Till the end of every day Praise Adonai All the nations of the earth All the angels and the saints Sing Praise Who is like Him The Lion and the Lamb Seated on the throne Mountains bow down Every ocean roars To the Lord of hosts Praise Adonai From the rising of the sun Till the end of every day Praise Adonai All the nations of the earth All the angels and the saints Sing Praise Praise Adonai From the rising of the sun Till the end of every day Praise Adonai All the nations of the earth All the angels and the saints Sing Praise Adonai From the rising of the sun Till the end of every day Praise Adonai All the nations of the earth All the angels and the saints Sing Praise
