Come and worship the Creator who alone is worthy of our praise

Here I Am to Worship

"Do It Again"

We are at the end of June.  How the time has flown by these last couple of months!  It seems that even with the sheltering and chaos in our world, time keeps marching on at a blinding pace.  But God is still sovereign.  And as we hurtle through time and space—drawing ever nearer to Christ’s return—I have a worship song for us that will remind us of God’s faithfulness and the fact that though our world is changing, our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
“Do It Again” by Elevation Worship is a declaration of faith and trust in God’s faithfulness.  It’s an anthem that reminds ourselves of what God has done for us in the past so that we can have faith to believe that He’ll do it again.  Hebrews 11:6 says that “without faith it is impossible to please God.”  Therefore, one of my prayers for 2020 has been greater faith.  However, in order to have faith that God will move in the present and future, we must remember the mighty things He has done in the past because our hope is built on His faithfulness.

For this reason, my favorite part of this song is the chorus:
“Your promise still stands
Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I’m still in Your hands
This is my confidence, You’ve never failed me yet”
I pray that this song encourages your heart and becomes your prayer and anthem as you remember God’s faithfulness and set out in faith during this difficult season.  Here’s “Do It Again” by Elevation Worship.
"Do It Again"
by Elevation Worship

Walking around these walls

I thought by now they'd fall
But You have never failed me yet

Waiting for change to come

Knowing the battle's won
For You have never failed me yet

Your promise still stands

Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I'm still in Your hands
This is my confidence, You've never failed me yet

I know the night won't last

Your Word will come to pass
My heart will sing Your praise again

Jesus, You're still enough

Keep me within Your love
My heart will sing Your praise again

Your promise still stands

Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I'm still in Your hands
This is my confidence, You never failed

Your promise still stands

Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I'm still in Your hands
This is my confidence, You never failed me yet

I've seen You move, come move the mountains

And I believe, I'll see You do it again
You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe, I'll see You do it again

I've seen You move, come move the mountains

And I believe, I'll see You do it again
You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe, I'll see You do it again

Your promise still stands
Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I'm still in Your hands
This is my confidence, You never failed me yet
And You never failed me yet
I never will forget
You never failed me yet
And I never will forget
